I actually took the girls to a "real" photo studio. After all the years of saying that it's a waste of money (which it is) and saying that I can take my own "formal" pictures (which I can't, now that I have two girls to try to position, keep happy, and stop from crawling and running to me while I'm at the camera). In my defense, I did have a gift card for $25 and so I actually spent less than that out of my "splurge" money I had saved.

My two sweet girls - December 2011 |
This is great. I think you should share the one of your Quadruplets. I even thought of a caption:
ReplyDeleteWhat do you get when you put two babies who almost look like twins in front of a mirror? Why, quadruplets of course.
Very, very nice!
ReplyDeleteThey are so bright! The photographer really caught the moment. Love it.
ReplyDeleteI don't think you need to feel guilty about it! For all the enjoyment you and everyone else is getting seeing your sweet girls I'm sure the money was worth it. :-)
ReplyDeleteSweet! I love the professional pictures I had done of John, Rose, and David when they were babies and toddlers. After four children, I gave up on that. But I love the ones I take myself these days. You'll get back into your camera Mary. Trust me. It's just that you've got two babies right now. (I mean if you don't count the mirror doubles. ;)
ReplyDeleteEveryone - I'm glad you all liked the photo. I certainly love it, and will really value it as these "formal" photo sessions will be few and far between :-)
