This morning as I was getting a very sleepy, groggy little Lucy out of her crib
she looked at me through those tired eyes and said "legos?"
Not "Mommy" or "Hi" but "Legos?"
Needless to say baths and breakfast got to wait.
We all (Helen, Lucy and I) played legos for a while and had a wonderful time.
They can be pretty sweet together, when they're not fighting over toys. Lucy can make Helen laugh in a way none of the rest of us can. I need to get video of it sometime when they are contentedly playing together and I have the camera out. (yeah, right!)
p.s. notice Lucy's lovely bed-head.
Plus, another benefit of legos...
Fun,Mary
ReplyDeleteI love watching George snap Legos together.
He gets really focused about it.
I know what you mean. When Lucy gets the people ("daddies") to snap onto the blocks she gets so excited and shouts "yay"!
DeleteNice! Love that she said 'Legos' before anything else. :-)
ReplyDeleteYah, in case I thought I was the center of her life :-)
DeleteHannah and I need to come up and play some Legos with you all!

Any day. Just let me know... :-)
DeleteExtremely cute. You never know what new thing they will greet you with. Nice when it's a happy sound early in the morning. I have some of those little picture legos for you. Remind me when you come down.
ReplyDeleteOops, I forgot to get more Lego animals from you when we were down. We'll have to get together again - oh well :-)
DeleteHave I told you before how much I love babies? In footed pajamas? In the morning? In pictures? Well I do. :)
ReplyDeleteI love babies, in footed pjs, in the morning too. And for once I got my camera out :-)
